The August Glofox updates put more control in your hands, whether you’re running a single studio or managing a franchise network.
Manage Your Business
Membership Private Toggle Permissions: Studio Admins shouldn’t have to wait on HQ to run a promotion. You now have the option to enable Admins to turn private memberships on or off themselves, directly from the Services page, while the rest of the page remains read-only. Permission is managed at the role level, contact Glofox Support to enable or disable.
Push Updates to Deleted Classes and Memberships from HQ:Bulk changes from Enterprise HQs no longer stall out just because a class or membership was already deleted. Your team gets to skip the old cycle of restoring each record, editing it, then deleting it again. One push now reaches deleted classes and membership definitions at target locations automatically. Available to all enterprise customers, contact your CSM to enable.
Engage Your Members
First Booking Workflow: Turn the moment a member books their first class into the start of a long-term relationship. New members get an automated follow-up right when their intent is highest, by email, SMS, push notification, and/or a manual task for staff like a check-in call. Pair it with the First Attendance workflow to build a complete onboarding journey from first booking through first check-in. Available to customers with the XLerate add-on or those on an Elite plan.
Discounts on Active Memberships: A well-timed discount, for a referral, an anniversary, or a member who’s starting to drift, can be the difference between a canceled membership and a saved one. Now staff can apply a discount directly to an active membership, not just at checkout. Once it’s set, the discount starts automatically on the member’s next scheduled payment.
Grow Your Revenue
Built-In Stripe Dispute Management: Winning a disputed charge comes down to one thing: submitting the right evidence before the deadline. Built-in Dispute Management gives staff one workflow to track, evidence, and resolve payment disputes right where they already work, with statuses visible from a color-coded invoice card and a new Disputes tab in Transaction Reports. The Sales and Payout reports now flag disputed and lost transactions and trace reversals back to their source, so you can reconcile with confidence. Available to customers using Glofox Payments.
Checkout Payment Collector API: Every extra step at checkout is a chance for a member to change their mind. Integrators can now use the Checkout Payment Collector to add support for payment methods like Apple Pay and Google Pay to their own purchase flows, giving members a faster, more familiar way to pay. Learn more on the API Portal
Overdue Invoices API: An overdue invoice is easiest to collect when it’s easy to pay. This API lets integrators build revenue recovery flows right into their own apps or websites, showing members a list of their overdue invoices and letting them pay on the spot through payment links. Learn more on the API Portal
That’s a wrap on our August updates. As always, you can learn more about these updates on the ABC Fitness Release Center. More updates are on the way, so stay tuned.
