The September Glofox updates help you protect revenue and catch problems earlier. Admins get tighter control over who can change billing dates and prices, operators get reports that show who to follow up with first, and members who miss their first class get an automatic nudge before a habit slips away.
Manage Your Business
Pro App: Filter Events by Trainer: Find any trainer’s schedule in seconds at the front desk. Staff pull up one trainer’s schedule instantly instead of scanning the full calendar. Admins and staff can now filter the Pro App calendar by trainer across classes, appointments, and availability.
Restrict Next Payment Date Edits: Close a billing loophole and protect your recurring revenue. Fewer unintended date changes mean fewer missed or delayed charges. A new permission lets Admins choose which roles can edit a membership’s Next Payment Date, as open or as tight as your business needs. Contact customer success to enable for your business.
Restrict Cart Price Editing: Protect your retail margin at the point of sale. Discount authority stays with the right people, so retail and cart revenue tracks closer to list price. A new permission lets Admins choose which roles can edit cart or retail prices at checkout. Contact customer success to enable for your business.
E-Agreements Reporting Update: Know which members and leads need a follow-up first. Visit and lead context now sits beside your agreement data, so your team can prioritize from one report. Five new columns are in the downloadable E-Agreements report: Last Visit, Total Visits, Lead Source, Lead Entry Point, and Lead Registration.
Multi-Location Campaigns: Run brand-wide campaigns on your own schedule, from one place. Schedule campaigns ahead of time and correct them before they go out, with every change cascading down to each targeted branch. Head Office users can now set a future date and time when creating a campaign, then edit or delete it from the Scheduled tab any time before it sends.
Engage Your Members
First No Show Workflow: Catch a drifting member before one missed class becomes a pattern. A first no-show is often the earliest sign a member is slipping away, and the follow-up now goes out automatically while re-engagement is still simple. The new workflow supports email, SMS, push notification, or a staff task, and pairs with the First Booking and First Attendance workflows to cover the journey from a member’s first class onward. Requires XLerate.
Glofox and Kisi Single App Door Access: One app now gets your members through the door. Members no longer need a separate Kisi app, which means a smoother arrival and fewer support tickets for your team. Members can unlock Kisi doors directly from the Glofox app. Rolling out to Kisi customers, contact your CSM to enable.
Member App Redesign (Early Access): Give members a modern app that makes finding, booking, and getting to class feel effortless. The refreshed look and feel brings a new Home that puts upcoming bookings, progress, barcode check-in, and schedule shortcuts on the first screen, simpler navigation, smarter location search by name, city, state, or postcode, multi-select schedule filters, a dedicated Credits purchase path, and a clearer sign-up with a progress bar and confirm password. Early access available on request, full release details coming soon.
ABC AI Agents Updates: Give members faster, more natural conversations and your staff less friction. Staff see conversations the moment they start and find past ones faster, and callers hear a shorter, more natural greeting. Chatbot conversations now appear in the Inbox immediately, Contacts and Inbox have been redesigned with faster search and filtering, Pre-Connect Messages move required disclosures out of the AI’s greeting, and Connected Apps is easier to manage. Available to all ABC AI Agents customers.
Grow Your Revenue
No Show and Late Cancel: Unlimited Memberships: Stop losing revenue when unlimited members skip class with no consequence. Credit-based and pay-per-visit members already lose a credit or money when they no-show or late cancel, and unlimited members were the one group with nothing at stake. A single checkbox in Attendance Policy now applies no-show and late cancel fees to unlimited members only.
Late Cancellation Override via Class List: Give staff a fast way to make things right, without punishing members for a fair exception. Admins can now waive a late cancel fee and return a credit directly from the class list in a single step, or apply the override later from the Pending Fees report. Overrides never appear in the Late Cancellations report, so your data stays clean.
Removal of Discounts on Active Memberships: Stay in control of every discount you offer, right up to the last payment. Staff can now remove a discount from an active membership in the Membership tab under Actions, which ends the remaining discounted payments right away. Each removal is logged in membership history with the date, time, and staff member.
Money Owed Report Updates: Recover failed payments faster by knowing who to contact first. Staff can separate a first-time failure from a repeat one, prioritize members who are still visiting, and diagnose the problem without opening each profile. Three new columns are now on the Money Owed report:
- First Time Failed Payment,
- Last Visit,
- Payment Methods Used.
Find it in Reports > Money Owed.
That’s a wrap on September. As always, you can learn more about these updates on the ABC Fitness Release Center. More updates are on the way, so stay tuned.
