While July brought summer holidays, beach days, and even winter weather for some of our southern hemisphere colleagues, the ABC Fitness team stayed focused on delivering new value and improvements across ABC Glofox throughout July.
Take a look at what we did in each area of the product:
Member & Branded Apps
Search by City: Searching by city now shows all locations in the selected city, without needing to type the exact location name, making it easier for prospects and members can now find the right studio or gym location
Unified Waiver Formatting: All waivers in the web portal now feature a consistent, mobile friendly design.
Sales & Engagement Tools
Email Class or Appointment Registrants: In addition to push notifications, you can now send emails to those registered for a particular event. This makes it easy to share updates, collect feedback, and enable your instructors to build their own brands and relationships with their classes.
New Filters for Custom Audiences: We continue to invest in deeper segmentation capabilities with the ability to filter leads and clients based on status, lead source, gender, and age.
Membership Renewal Reminder Workflow (XLerate): This new workflow helps you comply with Auto-Renewal Laws in jurisdictions such as California that now require renewal notices for subscription services. Aside from compliance, you can use this workflow to build trust with your members and avoid billing surprises.
Membership Yearly Reminder Workflow (XLerate): Now you can delight members by commemorating their membership milestones with automated messages or reminders for your staff to celebrate in-person.
Payments
Fixed-Amount Discounts: It’s now possible to offer dollar (or pound, euro, etc.) amount discounts instead of percentages. Fixed-amount discounts can drive higher conversion rates on larger purchases, while alternating between percentage and fixed-amount discounts can reduce buyer delay based on previous offers.
Maintenance Fee Enhancements: We’ve made it possible to charge maintenance fees (additional recurring fees beyond base memberships) to members that signed up prior to maintenance fees being switched on. We’ve also added maintenance fees to the members report as well as the sales break down report.
Operator Experience
Auto-Cancel Classes After a Membership Pause: When a client pauses their membership, any previously booked classes will now be automatically canceled for the duration of the pause. This helps free up spots for active members and eliminates the manual task of reviewing and managing paused-member bookings.
That’s a wrap for July – check back after August to see what we cook up in the rest of summer.
